Very close to the different parks in the area, and the town was very walkable if chosen to do so. 10 min walk into the town (or 2 min drive), 15-20 min drive to singing sands or the grotto. Also close to food spots if you're hungry for a meal (Across the road). Jim and Robin were great hosts, breakfast every morning was fresh with fruits and a sandwich/burrito. They provided wonderful recommendations that did not disappoint, and they were knowledgeable about the area. Rooms were clean, nice hot shower, and a mini fridge to store anything you brought. Overall great experience and some of the kindest people around. Would definitely recommend and come back again!

Absolutely loved our stay at Robin's Nest in Tobermory! The moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cottage has this beautiful, mature charm—rustic yet refined, with all the cozy vibes you'd want for a relaxing getaway. The beds were incredibly comfy, and every little detail was thoughtfully done to make the space feel welcoming and serene. Surrounded by nature, the property offers plenty of outdoor spaces to relax with a coffee and soak in the peaceful setting. The location is also super convenient—close to the beach, town, and trails—so it’s easy to enjoy all the best parts of Tobermory without going far. The food was delicious, adding an extra special touch to the experience. And we can’t say enough good things about Robin and Jim. They were such friendly, laid-back hosts who clearly care about creating a great stay. Highly recommend Robin's Nest for anyone looking for a perfect mix of comfort, nature, and warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I just stayed 5 nights at The Robin’s Nest. All we can say is what a great experience. The owners are so thoughtful with decorating, the gardens and outdoor spaces, the wonderful breakfast every morning. It’s a gem not to be missed. We stayed in the Birdcage and loved it. We used the bikes on site almost every day to cruise around the town. You can also walk into town in less than 10 mins. It’s an amazing location! Super clean and inviting! We will be back! Thank you for the great stay! I also want to add that as a queer couple, my wife and I felt extremely welcomed and such a warmth from the owners. This inn is very inclusive and queer friendly :-)

**A Perfect Stay at The Robin's Nest, Tobermory** Our stay at The Robin's Nest in Tobermory was nothing short of fantastic. The location is ideal—just 500 meters from town, making it easy to explore while still enjoying a peaceful retreat. From the moment we arrived, the hosts provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, setting the tone for a truly enjoyable experience. The room was beautifully designed with a charming seaside theme, showing great attention to detail. It was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the shower an absolute dream! Breakfast was a delight—self-service from the outdoor kitchen, allowing for a relaxed and flexible morning routine. Beyond the accommodation, the surrounding area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with excellent hiking opportunities in the nearby national park. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and I highly recommend The Robin’s Nest to anyone visiting Tobermory!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room had a large walk-in shower which was great. Lots of attention to the 'mermaid' theme was present throughout the property and room. The outdoor kitchen has a roof and is pretty neat. There was lots of coffee and tea in the morning, along with fruit, egg sandwiches and some delicious banana bread. Each room has a nice deck area which looks out into the cedar woods behind the Inn. Our hosts were very friendly and pleasant. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at The Robin’s Nest for 2 nights on the long weekend of September. Tobermory was very busy, but just about a 10 minute walk away, you felt completely secluded. Our room was very clean and had the most wonderful bed. Robin and Jim were a delight, easy to talk to and made us feel very welcome. Morning breakfast was delish, and great coffee! Highly recommend staying here! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This B&B is such a beautiful place. It’s surrounded by trees, quiet and peaceful. Clean, spacious and nicely decorated rooms with private bathrooms. Comfortable beds with luxury linens. Theres also cute outdoor seating areas as well. The owners are fantastic! They made us feel very welcome and are very accommodating. They cooked a delicious breakfast that was available for us in the morning located in the little semi outdoor kitchen. They had so many options from breakfast sandwiches, bagels, english muffins, fresh fruits, coffee, juice, tea and homemade muffins. They were very knowledgeable about all the town had to offer during our stay. If you’re going to Tobermory and need a cozy place to settle in for a night or a few you’ve got to check out The Robins Nest. It’s only a short walk to the town too. We have stayed here a few times now and its definitely our go to!

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The location is great - less than a 10 mins walk to the main part of town. The place is supremely well-maintained and kept. Even though there is not a 24h concierge, the owner somehow has impeccable timing whenever we needed something. He served us a delicious and nutritious breakfast each morning! The decor wasn't necessarily my style but I can appreciate hard work and care when I see it! Going to recommend it to everyone!
